Hyundai Coupe ‘Cool Emotion’ Limited

In order to raise the sales until launch of the all latest RWD Coupe in Europe, Hyundai decided to introduce a limited edition of only 100 cars of a current version called ‘Cool Emotion‘.

The car will be offered in 2-colours: Carbon Gray and Crystal White, the interior will in red leather and 18″ Borbet alloy wheels. The car will be powered by a 143 horsepower 2L engine. The price of car is €25,590.

Audi Type D Replica World Debut at Goodwood

This July, the Goodwood Festival of speed will be started once again. This year the Audi will take honors with World Debut of the replica of its 1939 Auto Union ‘Silverarrow’ Type D.

Pink Floyd drummer, Nick Mason and European counterpart of ‘car nut’ Jay Leno, will be one to present the old time through their maiden drive on 11th July. The Audi and U.K. based Crosthwaite and Gardiner took 4-years to replicate 2-time Grand Prix winning car.

We are delighted that we now have this car in our collection. And where better to give it its first outing than in the UK? We believe that this gesture is a fitting tribute to the people whose unique craftsmanship has brought this extraordinary car back to life.

Edo Competition Gallardo Superleggera Released

Next to the tuned Murcielago LP 640, EDO competition showed their 2nd Lamborghini project with a Gallardo Superleggera.

With massive air box, recalibrated engine control unit and freshly designed high flow catalytic converters, the Gallardo Superleggera generates 30 horsepower (22kW) more to 560 horsepower at 8250 rpm. Top speed reached up to about 6 kmph to 320 kmph and 0-62 mph reaches in 3.7s and 0-124 mph in 11.7s.

In addition, it includes 19″ 3-piece modular rims, the variable-noise exhaust and reduced the right hight by 15mm.

Hyundai Concept Genesis Coupe Wins Production Preview Coty Award

Hyundai Genesis Concept is rewarded by the SEAMO (South East Automotive Media Organization) at the Automotive Hall of Fame with the best preview vehicle of the year award this week.

Mr. Juror Kevin Kelly (Automotive Design and Production) comment the 306 horsepower Korean concept car for its modern, sporty, aggressive features not including a copy of the American muscle car.

The Concept Genesis Coupe doesn’t try to be a muscle car in the vein of the American concept, it busts through those doors to create something that’s a combination of sport and a bit of luxury that will still appeal to those who want power.

Our design objective for the concept was to create a ‘Tuner’ version of the production car.

- Mr. Joel Piaskowski (chief designer, Hyundai Design, North American Design Center).

Features would contain the carbon fiber hood, lower valence panels and roof panels.

Renntech Re-tunes Mercedes SLR Mclaren

Previously we heard of the Mercedes SLR Mclaren 722hp, and now by the popular demand the tuner has re-tuned the 5.4L supercharged engine bringing power up to 740 horsepower.

For revised tuning package Renntech have reworked the ECU s/f and included the less limiting motorsports-style exhaust system to obtain additional ponies to a new Renntech Mark, ten-spoke, three piece performance wheels.

Mazda Plans 30% Cut in Fuel Consumption by 2015

Mazda has declared that they will cut vehicle fuel consumption 30 percent by 2015 with the fully renewed powertrain lineup and the new creation of lighter car platforms and fuel saving equipments.

Some of the plans include utilizing lightweight techs, establishing engine start-stop characteristics and latest low-consumption rotary as well as diesel powertrain.

By 2011, their whole family of vehicles will have shifted to newest vehicle designs which will reduce the weight of the new vehicles by 100kg and by 2009, they will introduce their own Smart Idle Stop System.

These weight-saving systems includes utilization of ultra high tensile steels for the lighter but stronger body, downsizing the suspension components and utilizing thin materials for a door panels as well as for bonnet.

Its future powertrain arrangement will include direct injection method and E85 flex fuel units. This will help to increase power by 15 to 20 percent and improve the fuel economy by around 20 percent. 2008 Maserati Quattroporte S

Maserati has unveiled the 2008 Maserati Quattroporte and Quattroporte S which arrive with the newest look and latest technical solutions.

The earlier edition of the Quattroporte was powered by 4.2L 400 horsepower V8 engine. The Quattroporte S now powered by 4.7L 430 horsepower V8 engine introduced by the GranTurismo S.

Both editions are equipped with the six-speed automatic transmission developed in connection with ZF.

The 2008 Quattroporte S features new grille, front-rear LED lights, the more apparent under-door molding and pronounceable rear styling. The interior features a improved center console as well as new Multimedia System.

The sales will start in October.
