Mercedes will unveil the SLC Coupe at the 2010 Geneva Show and roadster edition – R197 will follow a year later. The car will be having a badge as an AMG, not as Mercedes.

The both cars will price around the similar as a well-resourced Porsche 911 Turbo – the target is £105,000 – and in size it is closer to SLR than SL.

The design of the car is combination of retro and modern: It is having large, top-hinged gull wing gates, nearly up-right bixenon headlamps, a typical SL grille, LED tail-lamps, tapered plan vision, motorized rear spoiler and couple of downforce- making front-rear aprons. The wheels are 19″ (front) and 20”(back).

The Gullwing will be powered by 6.3L V8 engine, and it will be mated with the newest Sportshift box, delivering 550bhp. The sprint from 0 to 60mph in just 3.8 seconds and reaches out a top speed of 185 mph.
